“Lessons are lively and engaging and encourage pupils to take part and behave well"
Ofsted November 2013
We are very proud of our creative curriculum. Our inspiring themes are based on active involvement and learning is developed from first-hand experience wherever possible.
Our curriculum reinforces the 21st Century skills of collaboration, critical thinking, creativity and communication.
Each termly topic is split into a series of units with an event or focus to be completed by the end. The first unit of the year involved all children creating a product for a whole school 'craft fair'. You can find out more by clicking on the following link.
Children recently celebrated the completion of another topic by opening 'Clandon Museum' for an afternoon, becoming museum guides to visiting parents who came in to view their children's work. For more information please click on the link below.
As a church school we pride ourselves on our Christian ethos, strengthened by our close links with our local churches and our high-quality RE teaching.
