Clandon is a Church of England school. However, your family does not have to attend church for your children to come to our school.
The Admissions Policies for the school years beginning September 2022 and September 2023 are available below. These policies contain oversubscription criteria that are used to allocate places if there are more applications received than places available.
Clandon School also has a supplementary information form related to each year's Admissions Policy (see below). The form should only be completed by worshippers at either the church of St Peter and St Paul, West Clandon or St Thomas, East Clandon. If the school receives more applications than there are places for children, church attendance is one of the oversubscription criteria. Please send completed supplementary forms to Clandon School office when you submit your online school place application.
Coronavirus lockdowns during 2020 and 2021 may have affected church attendance. The Admissions Policy for 2022-23 has been amended by the Office of the Schools Adjudicator to reflect this.
All applications for entry to reception in September and to all year groups during the school year are made online via Surrey County Council's website. To access Surrey's website for further information click on the following link:
Applications for a September entry Reception place must be made online.
