Clandon C of E School

Clandon C of E School A caring community where all can THRIVE

Clandon is a church school but your family does not have to attend church for your children to come to our school.

Our Admissions Policies for 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 are available below.

Clandon School also uses a supplementary information form related to each year's Admissions Policy.  This is about church attendance and would be used if the school received more applications than there are places for children.  You only need to complete the form if you are a worshipper at either the church of St Peter and St Paul, West Clandon or St Thomas, East Clandon.  You should send your completed form to the school office at the same time you make your online school place application.

Church attendance has obviously been impacted during the lockdowns in 2020 and the Admissions Policy for 2021-22 has been amended by the Office of the Schools Adjudicator to reflect this.

Applications for places in the September 2021 reception class opened on 2nd November 2020.  The closing date for on-time applications was 15th January 2021.  Applications are made via Surrey County Council's website.  To access Surrey's website for further information click on the following link:

Admissions to all year groups during the school year (ie apart from children joining Reception Class in September) are classed as 'In Year Admissions'.  For more information on in year admissions please visit our in year admissions page.

Please do not hesitate to contact Fiona McGowan or Zoe Jeffries in the Clandon School office on 01483 222442 or by email to if you require any further information.
