School Meals
Clandon School meals are cooked and served by professional caterers from Innovate Food. A range of meals is available each day, including a meat option, a vegetarian option, a jacket potato and filling option or pasta followed by a low-sugar dessert or fruit.
Meals are ordered in advance via the SchoolGrid website:

PACKED LUNCHES FOR EDUCATIONAL VISITS: The caterer can also provide packed lunches for school trips. These consist of a sandwich, a drink, a piece of fruit and a small cake or biscuit. Packed lunches for school trips may be ordered online.
* Please note, if an educational visit is arranged after parents have already ordered hot meals, the parent will need to amend their child's hot meal order to a packed lunch with the child's preferred sandwich filling.
SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: Before ordering your child's food via SchoolGrid, please complete allergy information on the SchoolGrid website. Please also inform school if your child's dietary requirements change at any time. We will ask you to complete the Special Diet form attached below.
All reception, year 1 and year 2 children are all eligible for free school meals. Junior children may either pay for a hot school meal or bring a healthy packed lunch.
PACKED LUNCHES: Clandon School promotes healthy eating to help children develop good habits with food choices. A healthy packed lunch leaflet is available below containing suggestions for healthy lunches.
Children may not bring any nuts or products containing nuts to school. This is to protect children with severe allergies.
